Fahrzeugbeschreibung
“Collection by Vermant” is pleased to be able to offer you this very unique Ferrari 365 GT4 2+2. The 365 is equipped with a 4.4L V12 engine putting out a healthy 340 horsepower. This power is put through a 5 speed engine to the rear wheels and brings the car to an impressive 245 km/h. To achieve these incredible numbers, 6 double Weber carburettors were installed as standard. They do not only provide for a lot of power but also produce an incredible sound. The GT4 2+2 was the successor of the GTC4 and featured the same engine. The car was however styled differently and was more spacious on the inside. In total, around 525 examples were made making this a very rare beast.
Throughout the years many examples have been neglected and came in a state of disrepair, making this model even rarer. This specific 365 was delivered new to its first owner in Juli of 1973. He was very passionate about the car. In 1997 he decided on restoring the car to showroom condition again and spared no expense to achieve this goal. All items were sourced through Maranello Motors in the UK and total an immense 40.000€. In todays money this amounts to 72.000€. This restoration included everything besides the engine of the car. This was overhauled in 2005 for a cost of 35.000€. In 2013, at the age of 78 years old, he decided it was time to part ways with his prized possession and sold the car to its second owner. A German industrialist who loved the look of the car. The second owner never registered the car and kept it in its private collection. Over time he started shifting his collection to Porsche’s and subsequently sold the car to the third and final owner in 2017. A Belgian collector who used the car regularly and spared no expense in maintaining the car. Since the car has only driven a few thousand kilometers since its restoration, it is still in concours condition, inside and out.
When looking at the exterior of this 365 GT4 2+2, we can find the beautiful colour of Blu Pozzi. This dark blue, non metallic shade accentuates the lines of the 365 extremely well. Being a historical Ferrari colour, it gives the car a more classy and distinguished look. During the restoration of the car, the car was professionally repainted and today the paintwork is still in as new condition with a very deep shine throughout. The front and rear bumpers are finished in the correct satin black and give a nice contrast to the blue paint on the car. Going over to the side, we can see the beautiful 5 spoke magnesium cromodora wheels. These were fitted with the correct Michelin and period correct tyres, even the spare wheel was fitted with the same tyre. The wheels are fitted to the car through a 3 spoke chrome spinner of the correct type of the car. Throughout the years, these are often changed with incorrect models that are easier to come by. On the rear of the car we can find the desirable and original spec Ansa Sport Exhausts. These are recognisable by the sticker on the exhaust tips and orange band.
When going over to the interior of this 365, we can find a beautiful Beige/Grey leather interior. This works very well with the Blue exterior colour of the car and gives the interior a very spacious and classy feel. The interior was also renovated during the restoration of the car and is still in excellent condition. The upholstery, switches, dashboard inlay are all in as new condition, a rarity on these cars. The quality and condition of the interior further attribute to the overall condition of the car and really make this 365 stand out. The luggage compartment is also in excellent condition with the correct materials used. In the bottom of the luggage compartment, the spare wheel can also be found.
This 365 will be deliverd with the following items:
This 365 GT4 2+2 presents a unique opportunity to acquire a completely restored and well maintained 365 at a very attractive price. It drives, feels and sounds like a thoroughbred Ferrari and is ready to be enjoyed by a new enthousiastic owner.
