Love it or hate it, when talking about an XJS. Fortunately, because they are becoming scarce, so a large audience only drives up the price, right? They are scarce, especially in this condition! An exterior in neat condition. Beautiful chrome headlight units, complete body lines and a particularly neat roof. But most important; an apparently ‘hard’ bulkhead, hard sheet metal and hard bottom plate. Is that still possible? Yes, it is, when the owner treats the XJS with love and tender.

The condition of this XJS is clearly due to its owner. Dallas, this beautiful Convertible has been driving around there for years.

Well, that’s the history of the Jaguar. The interior simply radiates from the 80s and 90s, beautiful. 80s and 90s in a very luxurious uniform, because wood and leather everywhere. The beautiful and comfortable seats can be adjusted electrically, same about the mirrors.

The chairs are in exceptionally neat condition. The leather has not dried out or been replaced. It is clear that this XJS has been stored indoors a lot. However, A typical thing is the wood on the center tunnel is coming loose. Of course we can have this renovated upon request and at an additional cost.

The convertible roof looks neat. The canvas is in exceptionally good condition with no sign of wear. the white stitching is looking nice and clean. It is inevitable that this roof has already been re-covered. Good to see!

Trunk? Neatly clean, the bottom not rusted. Sills? Neat, no rust visible. Bumpers? Completely in order, including the chrome. Truly a car from and for an enthusiast, you can see that in everything.

Some scratches are only visible on the tailgate. Of course we can provide this through our partners, but I like to leave these types of optical matters visible to potential buyers so that we can then arrive at a suitable solution together, entirely according to the customer’s wishes.

Then the technology. The engine runs nice and quiet. the chassis is quiet, no rattles or creaks that indicate play. Not surprising, because a few years ago the XJS was taken care of for more than €10,000 to bring it in it’s best condition technically. Invoices are of course available. This XJS is absolutely worth the investment!

And such a V12 runs wonderfully. This engine variant is linked as standard to the fine three-speed automatic transmission, known as ‘bulletproof’.

As mentioned, this is an XJS from the USA. The import duties have already been paid, the car has a Dutch license plate and has recently undergone an MOT inspection.

There is still a lot to say about this Jaguar, but you will of course only get a good impression when you view and drive the car. you are very welcome in Oirschot, the coffee is ready.
