The first generation has been released in 1987, wrangler (4×4) is known for his excellent offroad abilities. Two engine options has been provided you could drive away with a 2.5 liter or 4.2 liter engine. Only in the first half of the 90’s was the first generation Wrangler available with an exclusively manual transmission. In 1995 the last jeep wrangler YJ has been produced.

Over the years, Jeep has launched several successive models under different model names such as TJ, JK JL and the well-known Jeep Sahara.

AMC (American Motors Corporation) was in charge for the development of the first wrangler. A year after jeep introduced the wrangler, AMC sold her shares to Chrysler Corporation. Jeep became part of Chrysler’s Jeep/Eagle division.

Jeep Wrangler Laredo high output 1992

This Laredo was provided by Hennige Automobile located in Frankfurt am Main (Germany). The car had only one owner in Germany ,in 2003 the Laredo was sold to Italy ( one owner) Studioclassic77 subsequently included this Jeep in its collection in 2023.

Our Laredo is still fully equipped with its first paint, original hardtop, new battery and tires.
