Fahrzeugbeschreibung
For sale
Mostly first paint 1962 356 B T6 Coupé. A true survivor.
This 356 BT6 was sold new to Mr Walter Friedrick in Riveride California on November 27 1962. Competition Motors Hollywood delivered it back then. The second owner was Mr Backstrand. In 1989 he sold it the 356 to Mr Wynn. After a ownership of 17 years he sold to the last owner. He kept it till March 2022. This is all documented.
Condition
This is how we like them! Untouched in every way.
Body and Paint
The Karmann body is 100% rust- and accident free. All panels are original to the car and the panelfitting is like it came out of the factory. Rare is a term which is used a lot in the Porsche world but the preservation of this body earns the term rare.
Paint
Most of the 356’s in the early sixties are original red or white. Silver was an optional color. This early BT6 still wears most of its factory paint! One door (right side) is painted. And the rear bumper measures a bit higher. The paintwork exhibits a fair amount of patina. Some faded spots shows the age of this beauty. An original paint 356 is unique!
Interior
The interior is partial original. All in a perfect condition.
This 356 drives like new. Starts right up and has plenty of power. No smoking. Matching numbers.
Oil service will be done before delivery.
This 356 is not comparable with all the restored cars. This 356 deserves a new owner who understands originality and preserve it like it is!
