For decades, the Porsche 911 has been the go-to do-everything sports car. With its legendary reliability and 2+2 seating, paired with best-in-class performance, the 911 Carrera is just as at home being driven daily or enjoying your favorite backroads. The 992 generation 911 takes this to a new level, offering cutting-edge interior technology with twin-turbocharged performance, making this chassis the fastest 911 Carrera in the model’s history. Debuting in November of 2018, the 992 is the first generation of 911 to be exclusively offered as a wide body, which works exceptionally well with the overall design. Although the 992 is a thoroughly modern car, numerous design elements are intended to harken back to 911s of old. A classic-looking analog tachometer sits in the center of a digital gauge cluster, featuring text and a needle shape inspired by the earliest 3-dial 911 dashboards of the mid-1960s.
This 2024 Porsche 911 Carrera S is presented in nearly new condition, showing just 1.215 km at the time of cataloging. Finished in a stunning paint to sample shade called Brewster Green, the deep non-metallic shade works wonderfully with the car’s shape and the black trim around the windows and front and rear grilles give it a very subdued look. The black trim continues with the rear Porsche script painted black, along with the exhaust pipes, and the rear windows are factory tinted for added privacy. Sitting on a set of RS-Spyder Design wheels with staggered 20-inch front fitment and 21-inch rear fitment that are finished in a dark gunmetal gray, and sit in front of a set of red brake calipers. Thanks to PASM - Porsche Active Suspension Management, this car sits 10mm lower, giving it a great stance, while also improving handling. This Carrera S was sold new through Porsche Center Mantova and was delivered to its first and only owner in January of 2024.
The interior of the car is wrapped in black leather which is accented by aluminum and piano black trim throughout. The GT Sport steering wheel feels great in the hands and has multi-function capabilities, as well as paddle shifter for the gearbox affixed to the rear. Through the top of the wheel, you have a great sightline to the classic-looking 8,000 RPM analog tachometer, with a 7,400 RPM redline. This gauge is flanked by a pair of LCD screens which are configurable and can display speed, navigation or the car’s various temperatures and pressures. One rarity on this 911 is the lack of Sport-Chrono clock on the dashboard - a common option, it is remarkable how clean and un-cluttered the dashboard looks without the stopwatch sitting in your line of sight. For added convenience driving around town, front and rear Parkassist has been fitted, and Porsche Dynamic Light System (PDLS) allows for crystal clear vision when driving at night.
Powering the Carrera S is a 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged flat-6, which is rated from the factory at 443 horsepower and 390 lb-ft of torque - which is available at just 2,300 rpm. What is great about this turbocharged powerplant is that power is easily available anywhere in the rev range, meaning that you don’t need to downshift 3 gears in the 8-speed PDK gearbox to make a quick pass in the city. That being said, it is still astonishingly quick, with a 0-60 mph time of just 3.0 seconds, 0-100 mph in 7.2 seconds and a top speed in excess of 190 mph.
The 992 offers that perfect blend of sporting excitment behind the wheel, paired with all of the daily drivable comfort one could hope for. This Carrera S is a great build with all the options you need, and a striking Paint to Sample color, that has seen minimal use since it was delivered.
