Fahrzeugbeschreibung
1996 Toyota Celica GT-Four ST205 - Original left hand drive, one of about 900 ever made with the steering wheel on the left side and only about 250 of those were red. Car located and registered in southern Sweden.
I have owned the car since 2013, I am the 3rd owner. In 2015 I moved to Sweden and it became a summer car, only used between March/April and October, and only when the road is dry, so the car has no rust whatsoever. Of course I get caught in the rain every now and then but it has always been stored indoors. Since I bought it I've been taking photos of the odometer to keep proof of the mileage, so I have a folder in my PC with more than 140 photos. It has done 166.000Km as of today.
It's been my baby since day one and anything that had to be done to it was done, no questions asked, no second thoughts, no money spared. Instead of a service book I have a Word document with a diary of everything that has been done to the car, when and at what mileage, including regular maintenance, repairs and upgrades. It dates back to 2002 when it had about 60.000Km, when the previous owner bought it. I also have a very thick folder full of documents and receipts to back it up, with a total of more than 25.000 Euros spent on it during my ownership. It has been maintained by a rally cars specialist during its time in Italy and by a renown classic/exotic car specialist here in Sweden.
I have done some minor mods just to improve the driving experience, basically OEM+:
HKS panel filter
HKS Silent Power exhaust
Custom front pipe with 100 cells catalytic converter (original cat available, which had been refurbished shortly before being removed from the car)
Pipedreams 3" downpipe (Swedish made with Swedish steel, the best one available for these cars)
Mishimoto radiator
OEM JDM turbo (ceramic instead of steel, ported wastegate to prevent boost creep)
Forge Motorsport adjustable actuator
Forge Motorsport blow off valve (original available)
Gizzmo V4 electronic boost controller set at 1 bar (Very neat hidden installation, set and forget)
Polyurethane bushes in suspension arms, rear subframe and diff.
Koni Yellow shock absorbers (custom built, adjustable rebound)
Tein springs
Cusco adjustable camber plates in the front
Whiteline adjustable camber bolts in the rear
Whiteline adjustable rear sway bar
Rota GTR 18x8 +35
H&R 15mm hubcentric rear wheel spacers
Dixcel Type SH front brake discs (slotted and heat treated)
OEM rear brake discs (slotted)
Dixcel Type Z brake pads all around
Recaro SR5 leather seats
Speedhut gauges (volt, boost, oil temp), custom made in the USA to look OEM+, lifetime warranty
NRG carbon fiber weighted gear knob
Sparco carbon fiber pedals
OEM '98 spec leather steering wheel with red stitching
I have some spares and original parts which will be included in the sale
Everything was purchased brand new by myself, except the turbo which was inspected at a turbo specialist and all the gaskets were replaced. The engine is totally original, never rebuilt and runs like a dream. It doesn't use a single drop of oil between oil changes. In my view the only defects are cosmetic. As you can expect from the age and mileage it has a few defects in the paintwork, but nothing you notice right away unless you actively look for it. The passenger door and rear right quarter have a slightly darker shade of red, but again, nothing that you notice right away and depending on the light conditions it is not clearly noticeable. The first impression is really good, looks great in photos and I always get complimented by its condition at the technical inspection. Also, the tyres are on their last season and the wheels have some scratches. I am planning to install new wheels and tyres next year if I still have the car.
I only run Shell V-Power in it, I always let it warm up and coold own. Oil change every year / 5000Km using only high quality synthetic oils, Motul RBF600 brake fluid changed every 2 years, super strut suspension refurbished, all brake calipers refurbished, only hand washed, polished when needed, the interior looks like new, frequently cleaned and treated with UV protection etc. You can tell it's been owned by an enthusiast! This is no garage queen, it's a car that is being used but not abused. I have driven half of Europe with this car and never had a problem, I would totally trust it if I had to drive the other half.
I would love to keep it but I have fallen in love with another car and I don't have space left in the garage, hence the sale.
If you are after one of the best ST205s left in Europe you just found it.
JDM legend with motorsport heritage, available for export! I speak English, Spanish, Italian and some Swedish. I'll be more than happy to answer any questions, I know pretty much anything about these cars. Price negotiable ;)
Thanks!
