Looking for an enthusiast who cherishes this beautiful original GTl 1.8 16v KR from 1987.
The upholstery looks new, the trunk looks unused and very neatly maintained. Full history with all booklets present, keys (also the original 16v key), inspection reports, data sticker in the trunk and in the maintenance booklet, etc. Full folder with all accounts available for inspection. The car has never seen salt, almost completely in the original paint. A few scratches here and there, no rust! Comes under the old-timer ruling. About 13,000 km ago, the engine was completely overhauled by Eras Utrecht. Short summary of the work performed:
Oversized pistons, special Ferea valves, seats, guides, all bearings replaced, crankshaft balanced and all attachments are also balanced such as vibration damper, flywheel and the new clutch. Completely new cooling system, water pump, water pipe, all hoses, radiator and expansion tank. The gearbox has also been overhauled, the rivets in the differential sense have been replaced for bolts.
Installed a new clutch and replaced both drive shafts.
Starter motor is new, as are the Bendix master cylinder, rear axle pressure regulator and the rubber brake hoses. Front brake discs + brake pads are also new. New Bosch injectors, accumulator, filter and sealing rings have been fitted. New cold start injector, thermo time switch, new high speed fuel pump as well as new intank fuel pump. A new OEM VW distributor, Beru spark plug wires, distributor cap, rotor and spark plugs fitted. Tires all around Vredestein Sportrac 5 size 185/60 14 The car is inspected until 6-05-2025. Motor sounds nice and deep even though the exhaust is original as well as the exhaust manifold. Valuation report from Gratema & Luxwolda available.
